Will I ever be happy again?<\/p>\n

Life is full of ups and downs. One day you\u2019re on top of the world living it up with your friends then the next day you may be struggling to get out of bed. This is life. It\u2019s not easy, but we have hope because we know it\u2019s only temporary. This is not our home. Our hope and our home is in Jesus Christ.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor this world is not our permanent home; we are looking forward to a home yet to come<\/em>.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Hebrews 13:14<\/p>\n

There may be a time in your life when you\u2019ll wonder, \u201cWill I ever be happy again?\u201d When times like this hit, remember how blessed the Lord wants you to be.<\/p>\n

The word \u201cblessed\u201d means \u201chappy.\u201d When you read through the scripture below replace the word blessed with happy and you\u2019ll see how God intended for you to be happy. When you put your trust in His hands, you will find true happiness.<\/p>\n

\u201c5\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>When Jesus saw the crowds, He went up on\u00a0the\u00a0mountain; and after He sat down, His disciples came to Him.\u00a02\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>He opened His mouth and\u00a0began\u00a0to teach them, saying,<\/em><\/p>\n

3\u00a0<\/sup><\/em><\/strong>\u201cBlessed (happy) are the\u00a0poor in spirit, for\u00a0theirs is the kingdom of heaven. (poor in spirit = not spiritually arrogant)<\/em><\/p>\n

4\u00a0<\/sup><\/em><\/strong>\u201cBlessed are\u00a0those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.<\/em><\/p>\n

5\u00a0<\/sup><\/em><\/strong>\u201cBlessed are\u00a0the\u00a0gentle, for they shall inherit the earth. (gentle = humble, kind)<\/em><\/p>\n

6\u00a0<\/sup><\/em><\/strong>\u201cBlessed are\u00a0those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied. (Happy are those that desire to be like Christ)<\/em><\/p>\n

7\u00a0<\/sup><\/em><\/strong>\u201cBlessed are\u00a0the merciful, for they shall receive mercy.<\/em><\/p>\n

8\u00a0<\/sup><\/em><\/strong>\u201cBlessed are\u00a0the pure in heart, for\u00a0they shall see God.<\/em><\/p>\n

9\u00a0<\/sup><\/em><\/strong>\u201cBlessed are the peacemakers, for\u00a0they shall be called sons of God.<\/em><\/p>\n

10\u00a0<\/sup><\/em><\/strong>\u201cBlessed are those who have been\u00a0persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for\u00a0theirs is the kingdom of heaven.<\/em><\/p>\n

11\u00a0<\/sup><\/em><\/strong>\u201cBlessed are you when\u00a0people\u00a0insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me.\u00a012\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>Rejoice and be glad, for your reward in heaven is great; for\u00a0in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Today I challenge you to be blessed. Be happy and show the world our God!<\/p>\n
