Friday night, I turned off the lights on the cross that stood beside my door for Easter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was dark. It was silent. It was a reminder of the darkness that would have filled the night when Jesus breathed His last.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I walked away in tears reflecting on what it would\u2019ve been like to look up to the Light of Jesus on the cross one last time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt is finished\u201d would\u2019ve echoed through the land.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Imagine walking away from the cross in a darkness you\u2019ve never felt before.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As I was walking away from the cross to go to my comfy bed, in my nice warm home, with my family and all that I\u2019ve been blessed with, I felt guilty. Jesus died because of my sins. How could I be worth that? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Saturday came and I spent the day with my family complaining about being stuck  at home and not being able to go and do as I pleased. I was bored and had already forgotten that moment of silence I experienced the night before when the Light dimmed on the cross.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sunday, I woke up and the same cross stood by my front door, lights still on. I accidentally left them on the night before but woke up to a dark cloudy day lit up by the cross. May His Light I\u2019ll never fade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the storms rolled in Sunday night, I was reminded of that glorious day when the stone was rolled away and Jesus rose from the dead.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let the darkness remind you of the sin debt that Jesus paid for you. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let the wind remind you of His last breath.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let the rumbling storms remind you of the stone rolling away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let the lightning remind you of His glorious Light.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let the calm and the silence remind you of  His control over any storm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let His love be remembered every day!
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today and every day, Jesus is alive! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
